The Luxury Lodges Air Safari Begins
Boarding your Beechcraft Super King Air at Moorabbin is an exciting start to the next 13 days of your life on the luxury air safari.. This exclusive twin turbine aircraft will take you across Australia to some of the best upmarket glamping and luxury lodge destinations. The luxury starts as soon as you step on board your aircraft for your air adventure.
Departing Melbourne in the morning, you’ll head for Baillie Lodges Longitude 131 at Ayers Rock. We then head for Bamurru Plains, a WildBush Luxury destination east of Darwin, hosting a multitude of wild buffalo, crocodiles, sea eagles and barramundi. Saying goodbye to Bamurru will be difficult, however we head to more luxury lodgings at Berkeley River Lodge in Western Australia. Not to be outdone, we will fly from Berkeley to Kimberley Coastal Bush Camp, an exclusive retreat in the Top End, with a maximum of 12 guests at any given time.
After exploring the Kimberley Coast, you will be staying in an incredibly isolated yet stunning location on Ningaloo Reef, at the stunning Sal Salis – ‘glamping’ in wilderness tents. From Ningaloo to Kangaroo Island, our luxury lodge experience continues at another Baillie’s Lodge called the Southern Ocean Lodge with breathtaking coastal panoramas on the southern shores of Kangaroo Island.

Day 1- Time for a Holiday Moorabbin to Ayers RockYou’re bound for Longitude 131 at Ayers Rock! On arrivial enjoy a scenic flight of Ayers Rock and the Olgas.
Accommodation: Longitude 131, a Baillie’s luxury lodge destination located in a private area overlooking the magnificent Ayers Rock rising out of the desert..A unique tented campsite amid the timeless desert of Central Australia overlooks fabled outback icon Uluru. The retreat offers immersion in the dual World Heritage-listed wilderness in the purest sense ….it is breath-taking.
Day 2 Ayers Rock.The Touring Continues
After a stunning breakfast you will be guided by professionals to your choice of the sites of significance. Strongly recommended is a walk through the Olgas and a tour around the base of Ayers Rock.

Day 3 The Ayers Rock Adventure Concludes. Next is the Top End on our Luxury Lodges Air SafariToday you leave Ayers Rock and fly north to Bamurru Plains (a Wild Bush Luxury destination), east of Darwin on the Mary River.
Landing at Tennant Creek and Jabiru for fuel , then Swim Creek Station followed by the transfer to Bamurru Plains. Following your relaxing lunch, enjoy the first Air Boat tour across the Mary River flood plains and Melaleuca lined wetlands with magnificent bird life, crocodiles, and buffalo.. Drinks and sumptuous dinner is served in the luxurious wooden dining area of Bamurru Plains.

Day 4 Bamurru Plains with Crocodiles, Buffalo and Birdlife
Bamurru is situated right on the edge of a flood plain so you will have buffalo wallowing in the area, crocodiles, sea eagles (amongst other birds) and of course barramundi. The way around this area is by air boat, however there are also many other options for the next day and a half including 4 WD excursions and fishing on the Sampan Creek.

Day 5 Bamurru to the East Kimberley Berkeley River LodgeOnce again you say goodbye to another great destination and depart Swim Creek for Berkeley River Lodge in Western Australia.
Landing at the air strip less than 2 kms from the lodge, you’ll enjoy lunch on the deck before the touring begins.

Day 6 The Adventure at Berkeley River LodgeThere’s much to do, catering to all tastes. Only accessible by air, getting to the Berkeley is half the adventure. Leave modern life far behind and relax into the rhythms of nature in your ocean-view villa floating atop the coastal dunes. Be one of the privileged few to set eyes upon breathtaking wilderness landscapes by river cruise or helicopter flight.

Day 7 Berkeley River Lodge to Kimberley Coastal Camp (WA)The flight from Berkeley to Kimberley Coastal Camp is stunning, following the Buccaneer Archipelago.
You’ll board a helicopter from Mitchell Plateaux to the camp, landing on the beach right next to the resort.
- This is great Bradshaw Rock Art country, desolate beaches, and great fishing

Day 8 Exploring the Kimberley Coast(WA)Activities today are dependent on your interests and capability. Fishing is a great option and so is the Bradshaw and Wanjina RockArt.

Day 9 Say Goodbye to the Kimberley Next Ningaloo ReefWe start our day with a helicpter to Mitchell Plateaux, then it’s south by aircraft to Exmouth.
Our destination is Sal Salis, a remote, beachside safari camp nestled in the dunes of Western Australia’s Cape Range National Park.

Day 11 Ningaloo to the Bottom of Australia at Kangaroo IslandYou’ll fly down past Kalgoorlie, over the massive open cut mine, and to the Great Australian Bight coastline. Visiting places on the way, we’ll stop for lunch at Eucla or Ceduna before flying onto Kingscote on Kangaroo Island.
Accommodation: Southern Ocean Lodge. Perched on a dramatic cliff top above the wild Southern Ocean, the Lodge comprises 21 luxe suites, each with breathtaking coastal panoramas.
Day 12 Exploring the Scenery and Nature on Kangaroo IslandWidely regarded as Australias Galapagos and home to abundant native wildlife and spectacular natural beauty, Kangaroo Island sits a mere 15km from the shores of mainland South Australia.
On your first day you’ll enjoy scenic tours to unique locations.

Day 13 The Journey Concludes back at Moorabbin AirportFollowing a wonderful morning at the Lodge with a luxury breakfast, there’s time for more touring or just enjoy the local ambience before a light lunch and drive back to Kingscote.
