June 2017 Newsletter
We’re on air at 3AW & 1278!
2017 is the year for travelling, exploring and discovering.
Keep your ear out on 3AW & 1278 for interviews with our chief pilot Tony Kirkhope!
Previously known as Magic 1278, the station has now become a talk back radio station called Talking Lifestyle. Tony, a keen listener of 3AW recommends that fellow Melbournians check it out.
Make sure that you tune in to both stations throughout the day to hear from your favourite Outback Pilots.

White Cliffs Music Festival
A fantastic weekend in the outback
Pilots Rob and Nick flew country music duo Sympatico and Greg Champion (of the Coodabeen Champions) to White Cliffs in NSW. Both were performing at the White Cliffs Music Festival.
A huge thank you to Anne from White Cliffs for organizing the festival and for her invitation for us to attend. We’re hoping to be back in 2018 with another group from Melbourne.
3AW rumour file
Lucky winners take flight
Some of our scenic flights were recently the prize for the daily rumour file on 3AW. Some of the winners joined us last Thursday night for a joyflight around the Melbourne CBD.
It was a fantastic evening in terms of weather, with visibility permitting us to see all the way to Geelong. We continue to offer night joyflights on the first Thursday of each month, so give us a call if you’d like to tag along – its only $99/head for a 25 minute flight.
