Itinerary: South Australia – Fauna & Feast (4 days)
Melbourne to Port Lincoln
Your discovery of this pristine region begins departing at 8.00am from Kirkhope Aviation’s departure lounge at Moorabbin Airport. A brief stop to refuel at Naracoorte will have you landing at Coffin Bay by 11.30am.
Coffin Bay is home to some of the most sought after oysters in Australia, learn how they are harvested and savour their mouth-watering deliciousness. Continue the feast with a gourmet seafood lunch on the beautiful Eyre Peninsula.
In the afternoon, travel to Mikkira Station with its charming homestead built in 1842 and koalas galore! Late afternoon on to your home for the night the central Port Lincoln Hotel. Enjoy an ocean view balcony room with commanding views of Boston Bay.
You will have picked up from the high level of satisfaction on our return last night that everyone enjoyed it greatly. Kirsty is not only an excellent pilot but a very good and well organised tour leader. It was good to see that all of us on this trip had been with Kirkhope before.
