Day 1: Melbourne to Strahan (D)

Depart Moorabbin Airport at 2.30pm, arriving in beautiful Strahan at 4.00pm.

After checking in to your hotel, take a short stroll down to see Australia’s longest running play, ‘The Ship that Never Was’, a dramatic and hilarious true story about the last great escape from Sarah Island.

Enjoy a welcome drink and sweeping views of Macquarie Harbour from your Hilltop Executive Harbour View Room for the next two nights at Strahan Village.

The King Island Experience was fantastic. Good food interesting tours and wonderful staff. We were even given a lift home afterwards. Already booked our next flight and planning another in 2020.
